Further anthropologists constantly came to Ubud to consult with Spies and to recharge themselves. Spies and his friend introduced in many of the greatest artists from all over the island to teach and train the Balinese in music, dance and painting, which helped create the image of Ubud as the "cultural central point of Bali". The Tjokorde Agung was instrumental in obtaining tourism in Ubud as he introduced every guest who came here feel like family.
